Journeys out…Journeys Leeds Art Gallery
Corinne Silva’s 2009 film work ‘Wandering Abroad’ receives a second showing at Leeds Art Gallery when it forms part of a programme of commissioned work by the Gallery around the theme of journeys. ‘Journeys out…Journeys’ also includes Mariele Neudecker’s ‘Winterreise’ (A Winter’s Journey), a film work commissioned by the Gallery as a co-production with Opera North in 2003.

From War To Windrush exhibition, Imperial War Museum, London
To mark the sixtieth anniversary of the arrival of the MV Empire Windrush in Britain in 1948, this exhibition tells the personal stories of the involvement of black men and women from the West Indies and Britain in the First and Second World Wars.
