Eating the Bones

Performance with Eva Sajovic 2016

Whilst cutting bread infused with herbs planted in the earth taken from the graves of different artists and thinkers, the artists use the voices of gardeners, activists, writers and the community, to explore the relationship between human beings and plants before inviting the audience to 'eat the bones' with them.

The first performance took place at
198 Contemporary Arts & Learning, London, coinciding with One Thousand Flowers from A Test Tube, Silva and Sajovic’s installation as part of In/Visible Cities exhibition in 2016.

The second performance took place within Silva and Sajovic’s installation Five Hundred Flowers and the Mother Plant, Lower Gallery, London College of Communication, 2016.
